The chess-results server lists a numbered series held in the food hall of the Avenida Chile shopping centre (Calle 72 #10-34) and organised by the national federation: eleven editions in 2025 from 23 February to 20 December, and in 2026 the 8th edition dated 22 August and a 9th dated 20 November 2026. A district school-games notice of 28 October 2024 names the same shopping centre as the venue of the chess events. The city portal also announced an open chess tournament in the same food hall (Hall Gastronómico) on Sunday 15 June 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., free of charge for anyone interested, organised by the shopping centre.
